This product contains a non-acidic form of vitamin C (calcium ascorbate) and is fortifi ed with natural bioflavonoids for maximum effectiveness. Mineral salts of ascorbic acid (mineral ascorbates) are buffered, and are therefore less acidic. This form of vitamin C is more suitable for people who experience gastro-intestinal problems or for those who wish to supplement larger doses of vitamin C.
