Methyl sulphonyl methane (MSM) is a naturally occurring biological sulphur compound. Organic sulphur compounds are nonmetallic elements that are present in every cell of animals and plants. Sulphur is one of the fi ve basic elements of life and is the fourth most abundant mineral in the body. It is structurally and functionally important to 150 compounds within the body including antibodies, antioxidants, enzymes, hormones and methyl groups. Sulphur is a vital building block of joints, cartilage, hair, skin and nails, and supports many biochemical processes in the body, including energy production.

The formulation also provides a vast array of antioxidants that may neutralise free radicals in both the fatty and watery parts of body cells. Excess or abnormal formation of free radicals may lead to oxidation and damage of body tissue. The B vitamins are essential components of enzyme systems that drive the body to form energy from foods to generate new cells for tissue growth and renewal.
