Nearly 2000 health practitioners, both allopathic and complementary, in many varied fields in Continental Europe and North America use the EIS system as part of their general and everyday health care practices. The EIS health scan biosensor is a new diagnostic aid to measure bio-impedance in interstitial fluids in the body. The EIS technology was originally invented by German and Russian scientists, and was used in the health monitoring of the cosmonauts of the MIR space station. Subsequently a team of European scientists developed the technology for use by mainstream healthcare practitioners in all healthcare fields.

EIS Applications
The EIS system allows for specific, repeatable measurements
Any licensed practitioner/ holistic therapist who is truly interested in patient improvement will benefit from The EIS System as it offers a mechanism to track your client's physiological markers.
The results obtained using The EIS system can not be used to imperatively confirm or deny various laboratory tests, the results of imagery devices, or an electrical activity recording device. Each medical examination or evaluation has its own specificities. The results of the same organ will vary according to the method used. The EIS System offers new medical data of a complementary nature such as physiological tissue parameters as well as biochemical values of the interstitial fluid at a fraction of the cost with the results available immediately.
The EIS health scan biosensor can also be used as a therapeutic follow up tool based upon the physiological tissue parameters, the interstitial biochemical values and the acid base balance measured in interstitial fluid.
Where is the EIS System currently employed?
The EIS health scan biosensor is currently used in nearly 2000 medical practices in Europe and Asia and is now also available in the US following FDA approval. It is used by the following practitioners.
Who should be using The EIS System?
General Medical Practitioners
Used as a "before and after" treatment tool, The EIS is utilized in this capacity to visualize the effects of various prescribed treatments.
Hospital Consultants
It has wide applications in a number of disciplines including endoctrinology, cardiology, psychology and psychiatry, gastrology, urology, gynecology and oncology.
Chiropractors
Complementary with conventional osseous examination. (Spine Modeling) Muscular excitability visualization. Pains visualization in the tissues. For follow up immediately after treatment.
Data mining/statistical research
To track the health of a group or demographic population according to certain parameters, as defined by The EIS System
Tele-medicine
Detailed reporting system allows for data to be emailed off site to specialist consultants for their review.
Alternative Medicine
Therapeutic follow-up and visualization by the health care professional and by the patient helps realize the benefits of various alternative treatments.
Currently most clinics rely solely on patient feedback to determine the effectiveness of the various treatment protocols which can be very biased and unreliable. The EIS System will illustrate specific markers in the body with an unbiased reporting mechanism.
Sports Medicine
Cellular oxygenation is extremely important for the professional sportsperson. Monitoring the volume of oxygen consumption helps to determine the sportsperson cardiovascular rhythms.
Neutraceutical Evaluation
To determine how various nutritionals impact the human body.
EIS Health Scan Biosensor - Benefits
The benefits of measuring the interstitial biochemical values?
Interstitial Fluid is a compartment relatively unknown because currently there are no direct methods for sampling interstitial fluid. The EIS System allows for modeling of the human body and the estimation of interstitial biochemical values. Modeling is not the same imagery technique conventionally used in medicine. The approach is more like that of a physicist's. We reduce the diversity and complexity of the body functions by an appropriate choice of assumptions and measurements.

EIS System Operation

|
EIS consists of a small USB box, a footplate mounted with two feet electrodes, two hand plate electrodes, disposable head electrodes, cables connecting the electrodes to the USB box and to connect the USB box to a computer, and software. The EIS software records patient details, runs the scan when the patient is in contact with the electrodes, analyzes the results and displays the results in a user friendly manner.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
In healthy subjects, the EIS system is a non invasive bio impedance analyzer used for a general health check, to estimate body fat percentage and to give diet and micro nutrition suggestions. The applicable age range is 10 to 80 years old for sedentary subjects. For athletic subjects the applicable range is 16 to 60 years old.
In subject with symptoms but without treatment , the system can be programmed to compute various physiologic or blood flow parameters and, within the clinical context, to help regulate and target supplementary examinations. The applicable age range is 5 to 80 years old.
In subjects under medication, EIS system is used for the therapeutic follow up to help control dosage and monitor effectiveness and side effects.
The applicable age range is 5 to 80 years old.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
EIS should not be used in the following situations:
