myairZone represents a major breakthrough in air ion generation technology, unparalleled anywhere else in the world. Ions can''t be seen, smelt or heard so it is sometimes difficult to tell whether an ioniser is working or not. myairZone addresses that issue by continuously detecting its own output, adjusting it to optimum levels, and clearly signalling its operational status through the inbuilt LED display. If ions are being emitted normally a blue light flashes slowly. If output is interrupted for any reason an urgent yellow light flashes. When the battery is nearly depleted a red light will show and a green light stays on until the battery is re-charged. We call this ionfloTM and it is unique to Air Ion Technologies products.

Current consumption has also been reduced to levels not previously thought possible, enabling ions to be produced for more than 45 hours from a single charge - enough to last a full working week or to fly to the most distant part of the planet.

The ion emitter, too, utilises a new micro-fine poly-carbon fibre which overcomes the concerns associated with simple carbon fibres. Fibres, of course, have a uniform width along their length, so will never become blunt and reduce their output. It is estimated that the average myairzone ion emission brush contains approximately 5000 individual ion emitting fibres.
