How bright is Morpheus?

Morpheus is not designed to provide general lighting. It is intended for creating stunning colour effects in low light conditions eg in conjunction with candle light or table lamps.
 

How do you replace the bulbs?

Morpheus uses the latest generation LED’s which don’t need to be replaced. They should last for many years.
 

What area does it cover?

How far does it need to be from the wall? The further back from the wall the unit is set the greater the spread of light. Obviously the darker the room, the greater the effect. Generally though it works best set back about 12 – 20 inches from the wall. This gives the best spread / intensity combination. A corner or alcove works well.

 

Does it work outdoors? Do you do an outdoor version? 

The unit is not designed or rated for outdoor usage. Usage out doors is therefore not recommended.
 

Will it work with glass? i.e. shining against glass?

No. This will result only in the LEDs reflecting in the glass.
 

Is it mains or battery powered?

It is mains powered.
 

Can you mount it on a wall?

No, Morpheus is designed to sit on the floor, table or shelf.
 

How many do I need?

One will create an effect in the corner of a room. You could put one in each corner of your room or either side of a fireplace.
 

Can it be fixed on a colour?

Yes.
 

Can you dim it?

No. Morpheus needs to operate in low light conditions e.g. with candlelight to get the best effect.
 

How quickly does it change colour?

This is user selectable. There are three colour-changing speeds.
 

How much power does it use?

Less than 12 Watts
